Because each bench is handcrafted from solid wood, slight variation between benches is normal. On hard, perfectly flat surfaces, a bench may have a small amount of natural movement. Our benches can be used indoors as well but, ecause they are handcrafted wood products, some benches may have slight movement on hard, perfectly level floors, which is normal for solid wood furniture. How long are the benches?
Each bench is 10 feet long and built using solid 10” × 3” fir timbers.
How many benches do I need for my event?
A good rule of thumb is one bench for every 4.5–5 guests. We’re happy to help you calculate the right number based on your guest count and layout. We will always help you figure out how many you will need.
Do you deliver benches in even or odd numbers?
We typically deliver benches in even numbers to allow for clean, symmetrical rows. If you need an odd number of benches, just let us know — we’re happy to accommodate.
Can benches be arranged in different layouts?
Yes. Benches can be arranged in straight rows, curved layouts, or other configurations depending on your venue and needs.
Delivery, Setup & Pickup
Do you deliver and pick up the benches?
Yes. Delivery and pickup are included as part of our service. For quality control and insurance purposes, we handle all deliveries and pickups ourselves. This ensures the benches arrive safely, are properly placed, and maintain the high standard of craftsmanship our clients expect. When are the benches delivered?
We aim to deliver benches one to two days before your event in the evening, allowing time for decorating and rehearsals if the venue permits.
Can delivery and pickup happen on the same day as the event?
Yes. If required, we can arrange same-day delivery and pickup, depending on logistics and venue access. Our flexible service is appreciated by clients with tight schedules. Weekdays we do need to limit pickup and delivery to evenings in most cases and on weekends we can make most times work.
When are benches picked up after the event?
Pickup can be arranged for the evening after your event or the following day, depending on what works best for you, the venue, and scheduling.
Do you deliver to outdoor venues, farms, or acreage properties?
Yes. This is the majority of our customers! Our benches are commonly used at outdoor venues, rural properties, and acreage events. Customers often remark on how well the benches enhance the setting while remaining sturdy and reliable.
Booking, Payment & Planning
How far in advance should we book bench rentals?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak wedding season dates, as availability can fill up quickly.
What is required to book the benches?
To secure your booking, we require a signed contract and a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Our booking process is designed to be simple and stress-free, ensuring peace of mind for clients.
Once the down payment is made, when is the remaining balance due?
The remaining balance is due 60 days before your event, along with a damage deposit based on the number of benches rented.
Are there any extra fees or deposits I should know about?
The only additional cost is a damage deposit, which depends on the number of benches and your event location. There are no other fees, and the deposit is returned after pickup if everything is in good condition.
How do we move forward with booking?
Simply contact us and we’ll send you a contract to review, complete, and sign. Once the contract and deposit are received, your date is secured. Our clients frequently mention how easy and accommodating this process is.
